Geological studies are very important at different steps of mining activities. Different uncertain geological criteria and factors show a significant impact during the underground operations mineral extraction process. The current study reports on evaluation classification coal seams for methane drainage-ability (MDA) through fuzzy hybrid approach. This problem was investigated due to importance in process MDA necessity evaluate safety mines. involved depth, thickness, uniformity seam, joints cleats conditions, roof quality, seam gas content, water condition, permeability seam. two-stage approach used analyze effectiveness criteria. Also, cognitive map (FCM) method calculate weights FCM is based Hebbian algorithm metaheuristic methods. learning made from nonlinear heuristics differential evolution.
